{my} simple skincare regimen

SHOP (1)

Years ago, I wrote about beauty products and I was a failure at it. Nowadays, if I want to vet any products, I’ll consult with Amber or Julia because they always give me real talk {and truth} about products worth my investment. People finding it shocking that I’m 38 {this is me, crying in the corner, overjoyed}, and although I’m blessed with good genes and porcelain skin, I drink tons of water, use buckets of sunscreen, eat well, and invest in a strong skincare regimen.

Truth be told, my life needs to be as uncomplicated as possible. I don’t wear makeup {save red lipstick} because I don’t know how to apply it, nor do I have the patience to learn. If you asked me about eye creams and newfangled technologies, I’ll just stare at you, befuddled. However, I’ve found a suite of products that really work for my sensitive/combo skin, so why mess with what works?

Nyl Velvet Transformative Serum {I mix this with my Aveda moisturizer in the morning} | Dr. Hauschka Revitalizing Day Cream | Dermalogica Clay Cleanser | Aveda All-Sensitive Moisturizer | Decleor Night Balm {I lay off this during the summer months as it’s a bit too heavy} | Dermalogica Clear Start Pore Control Scrub

  1. Simple is better! I love beauty products and trying something new, but it sure is nice having a routine, too. I’ve always wanted to try a Dr. Hauschka product, and even more so now, since I’m trying to get more ‘natural’ with my choices.
