I love her. And her gadgets. I found a couple things at Tuesday Morning (a discount store) but I ‘m not sure if there is one in the nyc area. Next time I go, I’ll see if they still have anything.
I couldn’t help but sympathize with the rent increase. You know your rental situation better than I, of course, but make sure that’s legal before you pay. 200 bucks sounds a little steep. My boyfriend lives out in Queens and his only went up 40 bucks, which I thought was a pushing it a little, but I guess not. Good luck!
